Jobright.ai Toyota North America is a leading brand in the mobility industry, seeking a passionate Data Quality Analyst to join their TFS Data and Technology organization. The role involves serving as a subject matter expert on Data Quality and metadata management, driving data quality improvements, and supporting Enterprise Data Stewards in their data management efforts. Responsibilities: Own design, develop and deliver Data Quality, Data Profile and metadata best practices for the enterprise and promote their adoption via data literacy campaigns Serve as a subject matter expert on Data Quality, metadata management, Data Sharing and as an enterprise advocate for Enterprise Data Management standards and policies. Identify areas for data quality improvements and help to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies. Serve as the enterprise liaison between Business and technology to manage business definitions, data lineage (business and metadata), data taxonomies, ontology, and data quality rule definitions in a clearly defined and discoverable manner. Support and train Enterprise Data Stewards to use standard data management tools within the guidelines of governance policies and standards. Support Data Stewards in data management efforts that directly contribute towards major enterprise initiatives. Create and manage metadata and data quality metrics for each business unit. Drive alignment on data definitions, policies, governance, and enforcement of enterprise business rules for master data. Collaborate with the scrum team to translate business requirements into the product roadmap, EPICs, and sprint backlog. Qualifications: Required: Strong IT development/programming/coding professional work experience In depth understanding of Data Management technology landscape including standards and best practices in data governance, data management, data quality, and data privacy. Working experience with data governance development tools Familiarity with data management principles and practices in DMBOK. Experience in creating and documenting policies and procedures. Strong listening, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to exercise independent judgment and collaborate effectively. Strong experimental mindset to drive innovation amidst uncertainty and solve problems. Experience in process improvements, operational management, and change management. Experience working in an agile environment and understanding of agile principles. Preferred: Experience with CDCG, IDQ, CDQ Experience with data modeling. Knowledge of Tableau and ad-hoc reporting using analytic tools. Company: At Toyota, we’re known for making some of the highest quality vehicles on the road.
