What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Develop and test functionalities, APIs, and integrations for the new product - Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best development practices - Identify and fix defects while maintaining code quality - Manage versioning and support the CI/CD process - Provide technical guidance to the team, promoting sustainable and scalable decisions
What is Required (Qualifications): - Solid experience with Java / Spring Boot and/or Python - Experience in developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and system integrations - Proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, DB2) and non-relational databases - Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka (or similar such as RabbitMQ) - Familiarity with cloud services and infrastructure, particularly AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Familiarity with Kubernetes or managed services (EKS, ECS) - Knowledge of observability tools (logs, metrics, and tracing with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) - Experience with event-driven architecture - Previous work on projects in the financial market or with insurance companies
