A highly regarded plaintiff-side employment law firm in Los Angeles, California is seeking an experienced Employment and Labor Litigation Associate Attorney. This role offers an opportunity to handle a diverse range of employment-related cases from initial consultation through trial or settlement in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and professional environment. Ideal candidates are passionate about employee advocacy and adept at navigating employment law issues in both litigation and pre-litigation contexts.

Duties
Conduct legal research and analysis on employment law and relevant precedents Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, oppositions to summary judgment motions, briefs, and other legal documents Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel or parties Represent clients at court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and other proceedings Maintain frequent and clear communication with clients to provide updates and case guidance Uphold high ethical standards and professionalism in legal practice Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing as a plaintiff employment lawyer or in a similar litigation role Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Strong commitment to advocating for workers’ rights and interests Willingness to handle a full caseload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting Experience with employment law verdicts, summary judgment victories, appellate work, and/or class action cases (preferred) Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Certifications
Active license to practice law in the State of California Skills
