Base pay range $60,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations at the Holiday Inn Columbia East, MO. This includes managing day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, driving profitability, and leading all departments with a focus on operational excellence, brand standards, employee engagement, and financial performance What You’ll Do: Direct the daily operations of all hotel departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage, and Sales. Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional service standards in alignment with IHG brand expectations. Monitor and enhance quality assurance scores through guest satisfaction and service recovery. Prepare and manage the hotel's annual budget and forecast. Monitor and control expenses while maximizing room revenue, occupancy, and RevPAR. Collaborate with the Sales team to develop and execute strategic plans to grow market share. Recruit, train, motivate, and develop department heads and hotel staff. Foster a culture of accountability, respect, and high performance. Conduct regular staff meetings and performance reviews. Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal laws and brand requirements. Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and employees. Oversee proper licensing, certifications, and health & safety protocols. Act as the primary liaison with hotel ownership and Blue Sky Hospitality corporate office. Ensure property performance aligns with ownership goals and brand standards. Maintain positive relationships with IHG representatives and participate in required brand initiatives. About You: Minimum 5 years of hotel management experience, including 2+ years as a General Manager. Experience with IHG brand hotels preferred. Proven leadership in managing hotel operations and delivering results. Strong financial acumen and understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
