Recruiter - Investment Management - Boston, MA
We are seeking candidates for a Recruiter position with a highly successful investment management firm located in Boston, MA. This will join the Talent Acquisition team and will be responsible for handling the full-cycle recruiting process from sourcing to hiring and support the Technical Sourcing Specialist. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience preferably within the financial services industry.
This is a 6+ month contract position that will pay $45-55/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hour workweek. This position is required to be onsite 3 days per week in their Boston office.
Responsibilities:
Partner with senior leadership to craft and implement talent acquisition strategies aimed at attracting high-quality candidates Actively identify potential hires using various sourcing methods such as networking, employee referrals, social platforms, industry events, and job marketplaces Evaluate incoming applications to determine alignment with job requirements and organizational needs Advocate for and incorporate diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) principles in all recruiting activities Ensure job vacancies are effectively advertised across relevant platforms, including educational institutions, diversity-focused organizations, and professional sites Coordinate diversity outreach programs and maintain strong relationships with university career centers, community organizations, and other external partners to widen the talent pool Collect and compile interviewer feedback and facilitate post-interview debriefs to support decision-making Guide hiring managers throughout the recruitment journey by offering insights and support to promote objective and inclusive candidate evaluations Recommend compensation packages in line with market benchmarks, internal pay structures, and role expectations Manage the offer process, presenting job offers to selected candidates and overseeing onboarding documentation Ensure timely completion of all compliance and regulatory requirements, including background checks, references, licensing verifications, conflict of interest disclosures, and other pre-employment checks Contribute to special talent acquisition initiatives and support broader HR projects as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications or related field is required 4+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience preferred within financial services Solid understanding of Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action legislation and additional hiring-related legal considerations Workday experience is preferred, but not required Experience with recruiting software (ATS), HR databases, HR Information Systems (HRIS) or HR Management Systems (HRMS) Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with both internal stakeholders and external partners Skilled in negotiating offers and advising on compensation packages based on internal equity and market data High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
