We are looking for a
Warehouse Manager
to join our leadership team at our facility in
Aurora, CO. This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining all the manufacturing equipment within the production areas. This position is also responsible for understanding related Quality Management Systems including SQF, HACCP, and GMP to ensure safety and quality of employees and products. The job duties include responsibility for assuring food safety and for food quality for Dessert Holdings
The typical hiring range for this role is $105,000 to $115,000 annually and is based on several factors such as education, work experience, skills, certifications, location, etc. In addition to pay, Dessert Holdings offers benefits such as a choice of comprehensive medical plans, dental and vision insurance, paid vacation and holidays, and retirement contribution to all eligible employees.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Effectively manages and provides direction for up to 40 warehouse employees who are responsible for receiving, organizing, shipping and packing products. Train and coach employees to meet high quality standards. Keeps raw and finished goods inventory balanced in all locations. Maintains accurate inventory counts and manages inventory turns. Effectively communicates with key departments, specifically Sales, Customer Service, and Supply Chain. Manages inventory and relationships with outside storage locations. Writes, follows and enforces Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) including allergens, temperature sensitive ingredients, and follows company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Follows up and control daily absences and minimizes overtime. Keeps warehouse, cooler and trailers clean and organized at all times and instills in the employees Receives inbound raw materials and stores/rotate according to First in First out (FIFO) rules. Responsible for quality control in the warehouse, coolers and trailers at the docks. Ensures no damaged raw materials received. Operates forklift and electric pallet jacks as needed. Completes daily logs and ensures all paperwork is completed in a timely manner. Oversees and manages warehouse equipment, maintenance and leases. Packages finished sample products for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling). Understands the management of Quality Systems and is familiar with SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices which help ensure the safety within the workplace and the production of a safe and quality product(s).
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 7 to10 years of warehouse experience working with an inventory management program and two to five years management experience. Demonstrated experience in inventory systems (D365 a plus). Must be available to support a 24/7 operation. Must understand allergens, food storage and rotation, FDA standards and be familiar with SQF, AIB or BRC requirements for food warehousing. Must be able to read and write English and have excellent verbal communication skills. Must be proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook. PREFERRED
