This position supports enterprise-wide Business Strategies through the development and implementation of policies, procedures, tools, and processes to enhance workforce engagement. Responsibilities include managing the administration of the Collective Bargaining Agreement for union employees and supporting employee relations to ensure consistent application of policies. The role advances HCSC’s strategic goals, enhances employee engagement, and manages departmental plans focused on learning, communication, team building, negotiation, and conflict resolution. This hybrid role in Chicago IL requires in-office presence three days a week, with remote work the other two. NOTE: Sponsorship and relocation assistance are NOT offered. Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Management AND 5 years of experience in Labor or Employee Relations, or 9 years of direct experience. One year of leadership experience supervising or managing employees. Extensive knowledge of employee/management relations and employment laws including NLRA and NLRB. Robust experience with Labor Relations principles, collective bargaining, negotiations, and arbitration. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Key Responsibilities

Oversee contract negotiations with union representatives, develop strategies for contract implementation, and evaluate bargaining proposals. Lead grievance resolution processes and work proactively to resolve issues with management and union representatives. Preferred Requirements

Master’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Management. Industry certifications such as PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-GCP. Three years of supervisory or leadership experience. NOTE: Sponsorship and relocation assistance are NOT offered. Additional Information
