The ideal candidate will have extensive software engineering experience and a proven track record in deploying machine learning features. You will collaborate with a team of skilled scientists and engineers to develop generative systems that prioritize quality, reliability, and alignment with human intent. This role requires a self-motivated individual with strong technical and interpersonal skills, with a keen interest in health and wellness products. Minimum Qualifications
MS, PhD, or equivalent in Computer Science or related field At least 5 years of iOS development experience, with deep knowledge of Swift and iOS frameworks such as Swift Data, Core ML, and Foundation Models Hands-on experience in developing AI/ML-based products and integrating models into complex software systems Experience creating prototypes and demos for feature definition, data collection, and algorithm design Preferred Qualifications
Experience with privacy-preserving technologies Knowledge of AI/ML fundamentals, large language models, or experience with training and evaluation Curiosity about new technologies and a flexible mindset Interest or experience in building consumer digital health and wellness products Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with AI/ML scientists and engineers Commitment to fostering an inclusive team environment Apple offers a competitive total compensation package, including base salary, stock options, benefits, and educational reimbursement. The salary range for this role is $181,100 to $318,400, depending on experience and location. Additional benefits include medical and dental coverage, retirement plans, product discounts, and more.
