amazing Design & Art Lead

to fill this role, based in our Doral office. The Design & Art Lead at Princess Cruises is a dynamic leadership role within our in-house creative department, requiring a creative visionary with strong leadership skills, a keen eye for design, and a passion for innovation. Responsibilities include high-level concept development, brand support, graphic design, design supervision, project management, and process optimization. This role will shape the visual identity of our brand across digital and print channels, supporting direct-to-consumer and travel agent communications. Additionally, the role will explore innovative ways to leverage AI to automate content creation and streamline design processes, enhancing efficiencies and creative output. Responsibilities Lead and contribute to the ideation and development of high-level creative concepts and strategies aligned with the brand's vision and objectives. Understand marketing strategy and its application to design; grasp messaging hierarchies, customer journey stages, and informational needs. Take ownership of design briefs, review them critically, ask pertinent questions, and deliver work that resonates with target audiences. Collaborate with copywriters and design teams to brainstorm, develop concepts, and co-direct the production of marketing campaigns across digital and print media. Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to inform creative strategies. Ensure consistency of the brand's visual identity and messaging across all materials and channels. Act as a brand evangelist, ensuring brand expressions are well-defined, consistent, and evolve with business objectives. Collaborate with brand management to evolve and enhance visual identity. Provide creative direction and guidance to team members and external partners. Lead the creation of visually compelling digital and print collateral. Perform hands-on design work for marketing materials and promotional assets. Review team designs, providing constructive feedback. Work with ad agencies and stay updated with design software and techniques. Manage multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines and resources are well-managed. Work with project managers and the creative director to meet schedules. Manage design deliverables, including milestones with internal teams and vendors. Identify opportunities to optimize creative workflows, leveraging technology and automation. Explore and implement AI-driven solutions for content creation and design tasks. Continuously improve creative processes to boost efficiency and creativity. Collaborate on integrating new technologies into workflows. Requirements 7-10+ years of experience in a creative role within an advertising agency, in-house team, or related industry. Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, advertising, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience. Knowledge of design trends, graphic design, brand development, digital illustration, UI/UX principles, and best practices. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe XD, and Figma. Experience managing a creative team and delivering projects on time and within budget. This position is hybrid, with three days in the office per week (Tuesday – Thursday).
