About the Position: Our client, an elite Am Law 50 firm, has an active need for a commercial finance attorney with 4-5 yrs of lender-side experience to join its highly-regarded finance practice. This practice has a global reach and has been nationally recognized for its work. Highlights: · Ranked as one of the most powerful law firm brands in the world · Named as a top firm in Chicago by Vault Law · Recognized at the Legal Innovation & Technology Awards for use of AI technology Responsibilities: · Represent banks and private credit funds in commercial lending transactions, particularly with companies in the technology, life sciences, and middle-market sectors · Draft and negotiate loan agreements and related documents Qualifications: · 4-5 years of experience working on lender-side commercial finance matters at a large law firm · Experience representing banks and/or private credit funds in financing transactions in areas of technology, life sciences, and/or middle-market companies preferred · Background at an Am Law firm Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid) Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $310,000 – $365,000.
