About the Position: Our client, an elite Am Law 50 firm, has an active need for a finance lawyer with substantial acquisitions finance experience to join its growing practice as an associate or of counsel (title dependent on experience) in Chicago. This sophisticated and robust practice has a global reach and its clients consist of many high-profile private credit funds, banks, asset managers, and corporations. Highlights: · Practice consistently ranked and recognized for its complex financing transactions handled in the U.S. and around the world · Ranked as a Best Law Firm to Work For · Recognized as a top firm for Associate Satisfaction, Quality of Life, and Career Development · Position provides opportunities for direct client contact and business development participation/training Responsibilities: · Represent investment banks, funds, other financial institutions, and corporate borrowers in acquisition financings · Handle a range of lending transactions, including investment grade, leveraged cash-flow, and asset-based syndicated credit facilities · Structure, negotiate, and document financing arrangements Required Qualifications: · 7+ years of banking/finance transactions experience, including strong experience with acquisition financing · Large law firm experience · Top academic credentials Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid) Compensation: The anticipated salary range for this position is $435,000 – $450,000.
