Position Summary Provides support with the planning, development, and execution of training initiatives across the credit union to enhance employee skills and organizational performance. Identifies learning needs and designs tailored training materials using various delivery methods, including web-based, video, and instructor-led formats. Assesses the effectiveness of training programs and monitors employee performance to ensure continuous improvement. Manages and updates training resources, distributing materials to managers, staff, and volunteers as necessary. Additionally, contributes to member and volunteer education initiatives and handles various special projects as assigned. Qualifications/Experience A minimum of four – six years of related experience in Learning and Development. Experience in the design, delivery, and evaluation of training programs for various levels of employees. Demonstrated experience in facilitating training for virtual, hybrid, and in-person environments. Experience with learning technology implementation, eLearning development, or blended learning strategies is highly desirable. Comprehensive Understanding of Credit Union Operations: Familiarity with job functions, workflows, and processes across all levels within the Credit Union, including front-line staff, management, and executive roles. Expertise in Training Delivery and Facilitation: Proficiency in designing and delivering training sessions, workshops, and other learning experiences using diverse facilitation techniques to engage different learning styles. Application of Adult Learning Theory: Deep understanding of adult learning principles and theories, with the ability to effectively apply them to create impactful and relevant training programs in a corporate environment. Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Training Tools: Experience with various training systems, software, and platforms for content development, delivery, and tracking learner progress, including eLearning resources. Strong Communication Skills: Communicate clearly in both speaking and writing. Present ideas effectively in formal settings and engage well with different audiences. Training Delivery Skills: Comfortable training employees at all levels of the credit union. Adapt approach based on diverse learning styles and work well with others to deliver effective training. Knowledge of Key Topics: Education and training to teach a variety of topics, including member service, sales, communication, leadership, operations, and compliance. Time Management and Organization: Manage time well, prioritize tasks, handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines. Focus on details to ensure high-quality training.
