Director of Functional Cost

at Honeywell, you will oversee the functional cost management within the organization, playing a key role in cost optimization, financial analysis, and strategic decision-making. You will report to the VP of Business Analysis and Planning and work from our Morris Plains, NJ location on a hybrid schedule. This role offers the opportunity to significantly influence the financial performance of the organization. You will lead a team of financial professionals, guiding cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. Your strategic insight and ability to identify savings will contribute to organizational success. Partnering with cross-functional teams, you will provide financial insights to support growth and profitability. Key Responsibilities Lead the functional cost management, focusing on cost optimization and strategic decisions. Develop and execute cost management strategies to improve financial performance. Collaborate across teams to identify efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities. Provide financial analysis to support decision-making and profitability. Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with goals. Create and maintain financial models and tools for cost analysis and reporting. Lead and develop a team of financial professionals, offering coaching and guidance. Partner with stakeholders to drive financial insights for business growth. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. Strong financial analysis and strategic decision-making skills. Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. Knowledge of financial regulations and standards. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related; MBA preferred. Leadership experience in a multinational organization.
