As a
Director of Functional Cost
at Honeywell, you will be a key leader responsible for overseeing and managing the functional cost management function within the organization. You will play a critical role in driving cost optimization, financial analysis, and strategic decision-making to support business objectives. You will report directly to the VP of Business Analysis and Planning and work out of our Morris Plains, NJ location on a hybrid schedule. In this role, you will have the opportunity to significantly impact the financial performance of the organization. You will lead a team of financial professionals, providing guidance and support in cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Your strategic mindset and ability to identify cost-saving opportunities will contribute to the overall success of the organization. By partnering with cross-functional teams, you will drive financial insights and recommendations to support business growth and profitability. Key Responsibilities Lead the functional cost management function, overseeing cost optimization, financial analysis, and strategic decision-making. Develop and implement cost management strategies to improve financial performance and achieve business goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance business process efficiency. Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and profitability. Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives. Develop and maintain financial models and tools for cost analysis and reporting. Manage and develop a team of financial professionals, offering guidance, coaching, and support. Partner with stakeholders to deliver financial insights and recommendations for business growth and profitability. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
