They are a leading provider to the Intelligence and Defense communities within the US, servicing their clients through some of the most exciting contracts out there, which have been in place for 30+ years and counting. They are looking for a Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize hybrid cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on Kubernetes administration and cloud-native application support. You’ll collaborate with clients to troubleshoot issues, guide cloud transitions, and drive infrastructure modernization through automation, scalability, and emerging technologies. Key Responsibilities Deploy, maintain, and optimize Kubernetes clusters and related cloud infrastructure. Support application deployments, troubleshoot container-based issues, and provide best-practice guidance to developers. Contribute to modernization initiatives, focusing on automation and scalable solutions. Research, test, and implement new tools to enhance cloud-native environments. Work with cloud platforms (AWS/C2E, GGS, etc.), virtualization, and AI-driven technologies. Required Skills & Experience Experience in Kubernetes administration and container technologies (Docker, runtimes, orchestration). Strong background in Linux systems (RedHat preferred). Proficiency in programming/scripting (Python, Go, Bash) and GitLab workflows. Familiarity with DevSecOps tools for CI/CD, security, and infrastructure automation. Skilled at troubleshooting and collaborating with developers to implement best practices. Security certification (Security+ or CISSP) preferred. Seniority level
