Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart Stone Ridge is seeking a part (80%) or full-time Associate Director of Admissions, Lower School to begin as soon as possible. The Associate Director of Admissions, Lower School: serves as a trusted guide through the admissions process, and is a passionate ambassador for the unique mission and culture of the school. serves as the primary point of contact for Lower School families making inquiry or applying, providing timely and friendly communication with applicant families. supports the Director of Enrollment Management in the development and implementation of the Lower School’s recruitment, admissions, and enrollment process. undertakes, in collaboration with other members of the Admissions team, innovative and creative ways of increasing interest in the school. plans and executes all Lower School special events on campus for prospective and newly-enrolled students. recruits, trains and manages student and parent volunteers for all Admissions-sponsored events on campus. oversees all aspects of the Lower School student visits. promotes good relationships with outside institutions or groups with the aim of attracting mission-appropriate students. promotes and travels to off-campus fairs and recruitment events on behalf of the School. manages and updates the Admissions pages of the website for the Lower School division. works with the Admissions Team to prepare and maintain statistics regarding admission and retention. meets annual enrollment goals for the Lower School. reports to the Director of Enrollment Management. The desired candidate: has 1-3 years of admissions experience. possesses a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, or education. demonstrates excellent writing and communication skills, and a capacity for organization, and flexibility. possesses exceptional interpersonal skills and is a deft collaborator. is an experienced and mission-aligned professional who is able to blend strategic outreach with heartfelt representation of our Sacred Heart values. has the ability to communicate the transformative power of a Sacred Heart education to families who are just beginning their child’s educational journey. can articulate what sets Stone Ridge apart from other schools in the area and has a deep understanding of the motivations and needs of families evaluating educational options. demonstrates a track record of innovation and effectiveness in community-based marketing, with the ability to engage diverse populations across multiple outreach channels.has experience generating enthusiasm around a product or service and has the ability to think outside the box. Valued, but not required skills: prior experience in sales/marketing and experience working with a database management system (e.g. Ravenna and Veracross).
