Principal Software Consultant
to join our talented Global Support Team for our schematics solutions, Smart P&ID, Smart Instrumentation, and Smart Electrical. Work as part of a global team to support customers by troubleshooting and resolving technically complex support issues related to Hexagon Solutions and interfaces to meet organizational goals Is recognized as a highly advanced individual contributor and is considered a subject matter expert within the discipline May mentor less experienced peers and provide leadership as needed Possesses expert capabilities across various areas of expertise Works independently with a high degree of initiative Troubleshoots and resolves technically complex support issues Interacts with solution development and product ownership teams to give feedback, discuss and document design issues, investigate problems, and develop solutions to meet the technological needs of users Develops technical documents, instructions, and training for internal and external purposes Possesses in-depth knowledge of the organization’s products and/or services Possesses strong interpersonal skills and effectively communicates with internal and external stakeholders Accurately documents activities and outcomes Recognized as a highly skilled specialist in at least one ALI solution and its supporting technologies Possesses expert level knowledge in multiple ALI solutions Serves as a subject matter expert to help architect major solution enhancements Drives communication and delivery of highly complex resolutions that require coordination across multiple ALI solutions Is responsible for scheduled status updates on critical projects to ALI and customer management Develops a strong proficiency in Customer Relationship Management systems May conduct customer training when required Education / Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline, with 5 or more years of relative experience. 3+ years of customer support experience 3+ years of troubleshooting and problem solving experience Individuals performing at this level of competence may be considered for reclassification into this level. Prior experience with at least one of our schematics tools preferred Prior experience configuring/troubleshooting Web API based applications a plus.
