The Network and Data Center Engineer is responsible for deploying, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise network and data center infrastructure. The role ensures high availability, performance, and security of critical systems while supporting cross-functional IT operations and infrastructure scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
Deploy, monitor, and maintain LAN/WAN and data center infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls. Utilize modern DC technologies such as ACI/VXLAN. Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and incident troubleshooting. Document infrastructure and support DR drills and capacity planning. Collaborate with IT and application teams on infrastructure planning and compliance. Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking and data center environments. Proficient in Cisco technologies, virtualization platforms, and network security. Strong troubleshooting skills with exposure to structured network operations in high-availability settings. Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper- V). Familiarity with firewalls and security appliances (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet). Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. KPIs:
