Executive Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations

is a key partner in designing, implementing, and assessing a master plan to raise optimal financial support from corporations and foundations to support Bryant’s fundraising efforts, including but not limited to, Vision 2030 initiatives. The successful candidate will manage and lead a portfolio of corporate and foundation prospects, aiming to build mutually beneficial relationships with Bryant University and explore potential collaborations and financial support. Principal Accountabilities Develops and executes strategies to increase major corporate and foundation support through gifts, grants, and contracts. Ensures coordinated and strategic approaches from identification to cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship across stakeholders. Acts as the primary contact and relationship manager for organizations seeking meaningful partnerships, facilitating introductions and exchanges that advance campus priorities and funder interests. Leads a CFR team of three, setting goals and tracking progress to generate significant philanthropy from institutional funding partners. Manages a pool of foundation and corporate prospects, cultivating relationships with key administrators and executives through visits, correspondence, and events. Prioritizes prospective funding partners. Collaborates with academic and administrative leaders to identify programs suitable for corporate partnerships. Advises on CFR solicitations and funding opportunities, accompanies senior leaders on visits, and supports strategic partnership development. Provides leadership in prospect research, strategy development, proposal preparation, site visits, recognition, and reporting. Oversees development and submission of high-quality corporate and foundation proposals, including writing and editing to maximize success. Supports and collaborates with Advancement colleagues in engaging institutional funders and leveraging existing relationships. Maintains knowledge of industry, personnel, market, and funding dynamics affecting corporate support for Bryant initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Ideal candidates hold an undergraduate degree (advanced degree preferred), with 10+ years’ experience in fundraising from foundations and corporations, preferably in higher education. Must be strategic, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple projects, and possess strong interpersonal, writing, and communication skills. Leadership and supervisory abilities are important.
