About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations to join our Advancement team. In this pivotal role, you will design, implement, and assess a strategic plan to secure crucial financial support from corporate and foundation partnerships. Your leadership will drive initiatives to increase major donations through gifts, grants, and contracts.
As the Director, you will lead a dynamic team, manage a diverse portfolio of prospects, and work collaboratively with academic and administrative leaders to identify and explore partnership opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in fundraising, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and a strategic mindset.
Qualifications include an undergraduate degree (advanced degree preferred) and a minimum of 10 years of experience in fundraising from foundations and corporations, ideally in a higher education context. We seek a detail-oriented individual skilled in multitasking, with an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to effectively manage a team.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for institutional partners, requiring adeptness in building and nurturing relationships. Key responsibilities also encompass leading prospect research, developing strategic initiatives, and preparing compelling proposals. This role demands a proactive professional who excels in collaboration with diverse stakeholders and is passionately committed to our mission.
