Minimum qualifications: High school diploma or GED, plus at least 6 months of Fred Meyer experience and 1-2 years of retail experience, or relevant education and experience. Minimum age of 18 (19 in Alaska). Ability to pass a drug test. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and nights. Ability to travel occasionally. Maintain confidentiality and attention to detail. Familiarity with industry terms and processes. Ability to meet deadlines and continue education. Valid driver's license. Desired qualifications: Knowledge of Fred Meyer policies and procedures. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, RMDS, and company email. Experience leading project teams. Knowledge of alarms, sprinklers, and printers. Additional responsibilities include: Selling products, performing cashier functions. Maintaining compliance with standards and policies. Verifying stock and performing audits. Processing mail, managing replenishment, and participating in shrink control. Monitoring stock levels, following up on store tours, and addressing maintenance needs. Responding to customer comments and complaints. Completing incident reports, processing salvage, and verifying credits. Accessing sales data, processing transfers, and promoting company initiatives. Managing common associate areas to ensure an inviting environment. Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
