Summary The Community Relations Manager will serve as a critical bridge between the company and the communities it serves, helping to strengthen local relationships, foster goodwill, and support external engagement strategies. This role will collaborate closely with leadership at assigned facilities and support broader organizational goals through proactive involvement in community outreach, policy engagement, and relationship management with key public stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in public administration, political strategy, and external affairs. They will have the ability to build trust with public officials, civic leaders, and community stakeholders, and effectively represent the company in public forums, regulatory meetings, and community events.

Job Description Cultivate and manage relationships with community organizations, public officials, and local agencies to promote company interests and support long-term partnerships. Monitor, assess, and report on policy and regulatory issues that could impact business operations at the local and regional level. Represent the company at city council meetings, community advisory boards, regulatory hearings, and public events. Support company initiatives related to permitting, zoning, and operational compliance by coordinating with local stakeholders. Organize facility tours, town halls, and strategic outreach events to engage key external partners and showcase company operations. Assist in the development of briefing documents, external communications, talking points, and public comment materials. Collaborate with internal departments to align messaging and ensure strategic engagement with external stakeholders. Required Qualifications: Minimum of three years’ experience working in a public-facing role, including time in public policy, political campaigns, government service, or external affairs. Bachelor’s degree in political science, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field. Demonstrated understanding of government processes and regulatory frameworks at the local and/or state level. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present to public officials and community groups. Proficiency with MS Office Suite and CRM tools such as Salesforce. Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of building productive, trust-based relationships. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related discipline. Experience working in or alongside local governments or regulatory agencies. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Salary

$81,000 - $121,000 per year DOE. Benefits:
