(GOVERNMENT OF CANADA) Senior IM Architect Contract SCT resources have a broad range of skills in different technologies. We learn continuously, both on the job and through formal training programs. Candidates must have at minimum a Reliability Status Security Clearance from CIISD. Requirements: 10+ years of experience in the areas of analyzing existing capabilities and requirements, developing redesigned frameworks, recommending areas for improved capability and integration and providing advice in developing and integrating process and information models between business processes; Experience developing detailed statements of technical and functional requirements for three or more IT projects valued at $500K or more; and Experience defining solutions that used two or more different relational databases. Responsibilities: Duties may include but are not limited to: Prepare work plans, schedules and progress reports; Analyze existing capabilities and requirements, develop redesigned frameworks and recommend areas for improved capability and integration; Develop and document detailed statements of technical and functional requirements; Evaluate existing procedures and methods, identify and document database content, structure, and application subsystems, and develop data dictionary; Define and document interfaces of manual to automated operations within application subsystems, to external systems, and between new and existing systems; Perform information modelling in support of proposed changes to business processes; Perform cost and benefit analysis of implementing new processes and solutions; Provide advice in developing and integrating process and information models between business processes to eliminate information and process redundancies; and Provide advice in defining new requirements and opportunities for applying efficient and effective solutions; identify and provide preliminary costs of potential option. #J-18808-Ljbffr
