Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join Ryan Companies as a Reality Capture Manager, supporting our Mission Critical sector and expanding into broader enterprise-wide support. This role will help operationalize and scale Ryan's reality capture program within our construction technology ecosystem. As the Reality Capture Manager, you will lead efforts to digitize the jobsite, transforming real-world conditions into digital assets for safety analysis, coordination, progress validation, and quality assurance. You will implement advanced data capture systems, including imagery, 360° photography, laser scanning, drones, ground robotics, GPR, and other sensors. You will bridge field operations and technology, working closely with Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) teams and data analytics to drive project insights and innovation. This role requires a proactive leader with 7–12 years of industry and geospatial experience, capable of supporting daily operations and setting a strategic vision. Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate ROI are essential. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute capture activities on active jobsites, collaborating with project teams. Manage and operate capture technologies such as drones, laser scanners, and GPR equipment. Process and align captured data with project systems, ensuring accuracy. Support teams with actionable insights for decision-making. Train field staff on capture systems. Maintain and calibrate equipment regularly. Develop standardized workflows and SOPs for reality capture. Evaluate and adopt new capture technologies. Collaborate with internal teams to align data with workflows. Measure and communicate ROI, developing case studies and reports. Lead program growth, team development, and manage budgets and costs.
