Staff, Software Engineer . In this role, you will be pivotal in designing, developing, and implementing solutions that address mission-critical business problems and support Walmart marketplace growth. Our team collaborates closely with US stores and eCommerce to serve customers better by empowering team members, stores, and merchants with innovative technology. Walmart U.S. offers a broad range of products, including groceries, entertainment, sporting goods, and crafts, accessible online, via mobile apps, or in-store, focusing on customers, stores, employees, and merchant tools. What You'll Do

Full Stack Development:

Engage in hands-on coding, code reviews, debugging, and optimizing both frontend and backend code, ensuring high quality and best practices. Frontend Expertise:

Use JavaScript, HTML, CSS, ReactJS, and Webpack to create responsive, dynamic interfaces, maintaining design consistency. Backend Expertise:

Leverage Java, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes to develop scalable backend services, implementing microservices architecture and ensuring smooth frontend-backend integration. Mentoring & Learning:

Mentor team members, foster continuous learning, lead by example, and promote knowledge sharing. Architecture & Design:

Stay updated on emerging technologies, make strategic architectural decisions, and document systems comprehensively. Collaboration:

Work with cross-functional teams to improve user experience and ensure seamless integration. App Health, Quality, and Performance:

Prioritize quality, respond to feedback, optimize performance, and monitor application health. Tech Initiatives & Innovation:

Lead technological advancements, champion new ideas, and promote adoption of cutting-edge tech. Time Management & Planning:

Develop project timelines, manage tasks efficiently, and ensure timely delivery. Engineering Excellence:

Conduct rigorous code reviews, resolve complex challenges, and uphold high engineering standards. Leadership:

Provide technical guidance, lead projects, coordinate with teams, and mentor juniors. General Skills

Proven ability to write clean, testable, maintainable code. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Minimum 8 years of full-stack development experience in complex systems. Excellent communication skills. Leadership experience in projects and mentoring. Experience in e-commerce or marketplace platforms. Contributions to open-source or active platform evangelism.
