Job Summary and Qualifications
The Cardiac Sonographer is an integral part of the Cardiopulmonary team. In this role: You will be responsible for the accurate performance and coordination of various procedures in the Echocardiology Department. You will perform two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings for diagnosis of cardiac disease. You must have a working knowledge of stress testing and as it relates to the Echocardiology department. You will participate in PI activities. You will assist with stress testing and other non-invasive cardio diagnostic testing. What qualifications you will need: Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. (RCCS) Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer, or (RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or (RVT) Registered Vascular Technician, or (RVS) Registered Vascular Specialist.
