Job Summary :
Darling by Sean Brock is seeking a distinguished Maitre d’ to serve as the first and lasting impression of our restaurant. This role is pivotal in delivering a warm, refined, and memorable experience for every guest, from their arrival to their departure. As the ambassador of hospitality, the Maitre d’ will manage guest relations, reservations, and front-of-house coordination with a sharp focus on service excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the reservation platform, ensuring optimal table management to balance guest experience with service efficiency.
Welcome each guest with warmth and professionalism, setting a gracious tone for their visit.
Cultivate meaningful relationships with returning guests and VIPs, maintaining detailed notes on preferences for highly tailored service.
Lead pre-service meetings with host and service teams, covering reservations, guest insights, and nightly objectives.
Manage special requests, including dietary needs, seating arrangements, and celebratory occasions, ensuring flawless execution.
Serve as a communication bridge between the Front of House and Back of House, resolving any service issues with clarity and urgency.
Supervise and mentor the host team, providing ongoing training to uphold our hospitality standards.
Respond to guest feedback or concerns with empathy and professionalism, involving management when needed.
Maintain an active presence in the dining room, supporting the team, resetting tables, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout service.
Collaborate on private dining and special event coordination, delivering seamless and elevated experiences.
Contribute to ongoing Dining Room projects and initiatives as required.
