Assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing drugs, maintaining inventory, and keeping accurate records.•Collaborate with leadership, physicians, and support staff to promote expanded pharmacy program utilization•Stay current on drug access programs and coordinate educational and outreach activities•Streamline refill requests and communication between pharmacy, prescribers, and patients•Recommend improvements to sales materials and workflow efficiency•Procure and distribute patient medications as requested per policies and protocols•Compound sterile and non-sterile products accurately following USP and standards•Deliver medications and supplies accurately and timely to care areas•Maintain medication stock levels, rotate and restock inventory, and prepackage medications for pediatric/neonatal use•Accurately enter medication orders and maintain required documentation and logs•Supervise assigned technician staff and processes, provide leadership, and address technical issues•Participate in departmental quality improvement activities, inspections, and data collectionWhat Sets BRG Apart:At Baton Rouge General, we are a community of compassionate, caring individuals who set the bar when it comes to healthcare excellence.
