Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

Our client, based in Mahopac, NY, is a leading force in their industry! Their team brings decades of unparalleled expertise to serve residential customers in Putnam, Westchester, and Rockland County, and they are on track to continue growing and expanding to other regions of the state.
They've partnered with CFS to bring on a Senior Accountant - you'll play a vital role in our dynamic accounting and operations team.

• Dive into day-to-day activities, managing payroll and accounts payable processes.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to enhance practices as we scale.
• Your contributions will be front and center: this is a highly visible role and a great opportunity to work directly with the leadership team.

What You'll Do

• Assist with the daily operations of the accounting department including:
• Month and year-end closing activities
• Accounts payable/receivable
• Cash receipts
• Payroll and expense reconciliation
• Check runs
  

What We Are Looking For

• Proven working experience in accounting - minimum of one year of general ledger accounting experience
• Experience working efficiently in at least one accounting software, preferably QuickBooks Desktop and/or NetSuite
• Experience with MS Excel or Google Sheets
• Knowledge of accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related business field
