They have specialized in private and government markets for over 25 years and have an extensive pipeline of projects going forward. Their average projects cost is $50M+ and average project size is 80,000 sq ft. They provide an extremely comprehensive benefits package and provide annual bonuses up to 20%.Job DescriptionSet clear deadlines, assign tasks, track deliverables, and resolve any issues that arise along the way.Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing plans and specifications and performing quantity take-offs.Develop and prepare conceptual estimates with minimal vendor/subcontractor assistance using limited preliminary design documents/information.Develop vendor/subcontract interest in projects and manage the vendor/subcontractor RFP process.Qualify and level subcontractors' proposals according to project specifics.Itemize and prepare bid packages.Review and edit the bid or RFP content, check for errors, omissions, or inconsistencies, and ensure that the bid follows the client's specifications and guidelines.Identify and address any risks, opportunities, or gaps in the bid, and provide recommendations and solutions.Coordinate and facilitate the input of subject matter experts, writers, designers, and reviewers, and ensure that they deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.Write and edit various sections of the bid, such as the executive summary, the technical proposal, and the pricing strategy, and ensure that they align with the client's needs and expectations.Design and create attractive and professional bid documents, using appropriate tools and templates.Build and maintain positive relationships with the client and any external partners and manage any conflicts or feedback.Brainstorm and generate new ideas, approaches, and solutions, and incorporate them into the bid content and design.Responsible for deciding the projected time frame needed to complete a project and additional factors such as labor needs, materials, budgets, and potential setbacks.Compile reports and make presentations to project leaders outlining their suggestions for upcoming projects.Estimate new and retrofit construction measures for projects.Review plans and specifications to address RFIs and address conflicts.Procure LEED specifications on various products to ensure compliance with customer preferences.Continually marketing the company and looking for future opportunities to grow the business.Performs other duties as assigned.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
