Associate Attorney
with a strong background in
New York Labor Law
and
general liability
matters. This is a great opportunity for a lateral hire to grow their practice alongside a respected team handling complex litigation in the
New York
jurisdiction. Candidate Parameters: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active New York Bar license (required); New Jersey admission is a plus Billable Hour Requirement: 2,040 hours Salary Range: $150,000–$200,000+ Key Qualifications: Demonstrated experience handling New York Labor Law and general liability cases Strong litigation skills, including court appearances, depositions, and negotiations Familiarity with New York court procedures and practices Excellent legal research and writing abilities (motions, pleadings, discovery) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and maintain proactive client communication Must have substantive New York experience (New Jersey-only practitioners will not be prioritized) Key Duties: Manage general liability and Labor Law cases from inception through resolution Draft pleadings, discovery responses, and legal motions Appear in New York courts for hearings, depositions, mediations, and negotiations Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on litigation strategy Provide regular updates and maintain strong relationships with clients Salary Range:
$150,000 - $200,000 Reference:
