What You Will Be Doing: Operations Technician tasked to support Supervisors and Work Force for the C-130J Mid/Mate Area with a prime emphasis on structural and electrical installations. Supports development of crew plans to meet or exceed safety, quality, cost and schedule requirements. Utilizing Earned Value Management tools will identify, drive, and support implementation of improvements for work sequence, engineering, planning, tooling, and waste reduction. Supports Work Force proficiency efforts. Facilitates self-directed work teams, provides training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interacts with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement. Incumbents are generally experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations. Knowledge of C-130 assembly Aircraft support experience. Multi-faceted manufacturing experience (various skills/departments/processes). Troubleshooting/root cause/corrective action. Working knowledge of Full Spectrum Leadership tenets. Excellent interpersonal communications skills. Familiarity with industry compliance and safety regulations. Ability to develop and track performance metrics. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production planning tools. Proficiency in QADS, SFM, EDW, SAP, DIMS, Vision, Tableau, NFS, STK.
