As a Manufacturing Engineer Senior, you will be uniquely positioned. In this role, you will lead/assist manufacturing planning activities and represented workforce to accomplish/track cost, schedule, and quality objectives for the Air Mobility and Maritime Missions (AMMM) Planning Group. This is an assign and assist role with potential for functional rotation to learn more of the business. What You Will Be Doing Create pre-plans and provide technical assistance for a group of Tool Planners performing structural, electrical, and tooling planning activity for AMMM aircraft (mainly C-130). Analyze Engineering requirements for development/initiation of documentation required for fabrication, repair, modification, purchase, and installation of aircraft components and tooling to support same. Responsible for quality and release of Planning documents in compliance with established procedures and schedules. May be asked to respond to requests from global sustainment for Planning to support spares, modifications, repair, overhaul, warranty claims, and the Engineering labs. Requires direct interaction with Production leadership and other organizations regarding Planning related issues and concerns. ? Microsoft Office skills. ? Well rounded knowledge of aircraft structures and systems. ? Experience with heavy modification, maintenance, and installation on completed aircraft. ? Degree with 5+ years of experience ? Experience with C-130 aircraft and Functional knowledge of C-130 Planning (e.g. structures, wiring, software, functional test, and/or troubleshooting, etc.). ? Corrective action and process improvement experience. ? Working knowledge of an ERP and Manufacturing Execution System. ? Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Other Information
