Work Hours/Shifts: Per Diem Schedule: Per Diem Shift: Day Location: AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach The community you'll be caring for: 401 Palmetto St, New Smyrna Beach, 32168 The role you'll contribute: The Administrative Supervisor serves as the administrative and patient relations representative outside of regular business hours, acting as a pivotal clinical resource facilitator for the nursing areas. This role is crucial in fostering intradepartmental communication and activities, ensuring the delivery of quality patient care by upholding and enforcing policies and procedures, along with the organization's mission, vision, and core values. Additionally, the position takes on responsibilities such as coordinating shift staffing, facilitating patient flow, and acting as a liaison between the administration team, employees, physicians, patients, families, and other customers to maintain relationships that are respectful to all. The Administrative Supervisor actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining these relationships, demonstrating effective communication, conflict management, human relationship skills, and team building. The value you'll bring to the team: Provides clinical and administrative supervision after regular business hours. Manages hospital personnel and other resources to meet the identified standards, goals, and department requirements. Reassigns employees to different duties if the Administrative Supervisor determines the change to be appropriate during the shift or workday in order to achieve the most effective utilization of skills and abilities and to equalize workloads. Makes regular rounds to identify problems and facilitate efficient/effective resolution Reviews reports relative to activities throughout the hospital, initiating or responding with appropriate communication and/or action.
