These comprehensive services facilitate recovery from addiction and promote family self-sufficiency and healthy lifestyle choices. Wings works closely with the North Range Behavioral Health Early Childhood and Family Connects programs, and continued treatment includes the children in a whole family approach.
As a clinician within Wings, you will play a critical role in providing strength-based, person-centered care. You will support clients in developing individualized service plans, monitoring treatment progress, and ensuring acute clinical documentation. This role involves active collaboration with clients, community partners, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, trauma-informed, and evidence-based care.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments, goal planning, and treatment for mental health and/or substance use issues, utilizing required instruments and formats within appropriate timelines. Develop and update strength-based treatment plans, continuing care plans, and discharge summaries; make timely referrals. Observe clients, assess diagnoses and mental status, and implement treatment plans based on clients' needs and functioning levels. Collaborate with clinicians, law enforcement, external providers, and psychiatrists to ensure comprehensive care. Work with clients on safety planning, symptom management, support system identification, and risk mitigation. Teach clients behavioral skills, coping strategies, and problem-solving techniques to improve well-being and daily functioning. Support evidence-based practices to ensure effective interventions within the program. Provide case management and refer clients to additional resources (e.g., vocational, medical, housing, residential treatment).
