About the Role: Adult Outpatient Program - Mental Health Clinician:

North Range Behavioral Health believes no one should fight behavioral health challenges alone. We believe in empowering individuals to navigate their recovery journey with dignity and support. The Adult Recovery Program focuses on assisting adult clients facing challenges related to serious mental health challenges and/or substance use disorders. Guided by a recovery-oriented approach, the team collaborates with clients to establish meaningful life goals and maintain control over their lives.

As a clinician within the Adult Recovery Program, you will play a critical role in providing strength-based, person-centered care. You will support clients in developing individualized service plans, monitoring treatment progress, and ensuring acute clinical documentation. This role involves active collaboration with clients, community partners, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, trauma-informed, and evidence-based care.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments, goal planning, and treatment for mental health and/or substance use issues, utilizing required instruments and formats within appropriate timelines. Develop and update strength-based treatment plans, continuing care plans, and discharge summaries; make timely referrals. Observe clients, assess diagnoses and mental status, and implement treatment plans based on clients' needs and functioning levels. Collaborate with clinicians, law enforcement, external providers, and psychiatrists to ensure comprehensive care. Work with clients on safety planning, symptom management, support system identification, and risk mitigation. Teach clients behavioral skills, coping strategies, and problem-solving techniques to improve well-being and daily functioning. Support evidence-based practices to ensure effective interventions within the program. Provide case management and refer clients to additional resources (e.g., vocational, medical, housing, residential treatment). Maintain accurate electronic health records, ensuring ethical coding and billing in compliance with agency standards.

Qualifications: Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field. Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets insurability requirements. Successful competition of background, fingerprinting, and drug testing Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.

Experience: No prior experience is required, though it's preferred.
