JOB SUMMARY :
Assist in the execution of casino Promotions and Special Events in various locations and Entertainment performances in the Cherokee Events Center.
JOB
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Set-up chair & row numbering per floor plan Remove all numbering from pavilion seats after shows Greet guests in a friendly, out-going manner Scan tickets and direct guest in Showroom, Promotions and Special Events Explain and answer questions regarding the property, Casino Promotions, Special Events, Entertainment, and the benefits of the Total Rewards program in a friendly manner Create fun and exciting environment for the guests while working Promotions, Special Events and Entertainment Display Spotlight behaviors, and present upbeat and positive attitude Participating team member by providing constructive input and suggestions Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner Other duties as required
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED required Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills: Must have great customer service, employee relation, and individual / teamwork skills Proficient computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications Knowledge of CMS, LMS, or/and EMS is preferred Must be able to operate at a fast pace environment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Willing to learn and to be adaptable Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene Able to get along with co-workers and work as a contributing member of a team Able to receive and accept direction and instruction in a positive and cooperative manner
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and carry up to 10 pounds Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, kneel, twist, stand, and grip items Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality including secondhand smoke Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
