Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints and specifications. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and G-code. Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure parts meet quality standards. Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as needed to maintain part accuracy and quality. Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues and perform routine maintenance. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and quality procedures. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize production processes. Document production activities, including completed work, scrap, and machine downtime. Qualifications:
Proven experience as a CNC Mill Operator in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of CNC machine operation, tooling, and setups. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. Experience with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges). Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Knowledge of medical device manufacturing standards (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA regulations) is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in machining is preferred. Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $19.00
