Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Associate Contracts Administrator with a strong background in GWAC and GSA Schedule contract administration to support our growing portfolio of federal programs. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and drive successful contract execution. Work Model: Onsite/In-office
Responsibilities
Essential Job Duties & Functions: Administering and managing GWACs (e.g., Alliant, SEWP, CIO-SP3) and GSA Schedules (e.g., MAS contracts), including modifications, option exercises, and renewals. Reviewing, interpreting, and negotiating a variety of government contracts and task orders. Ensuring compliance with FAR, DFARS, GSAM, and other agency-specific regulations. Providing guidance on contract terms and requirements to internal project teams, capture teams, and leadership. Supporting proposal and pricing activities in response to GWAC and GSA task order solicitations. Assisting with contract audits, reporting, and system administration for contract documentation and compliance. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date contract records in accordance with company and federal policies. Supporting business development and capture activities related to GSA Schedules and GWACs.
Job Requirements
Mandatory: Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field, with 2-4 years of direct experience in U.S. Federal Government contracting, including GWAC and GSA Schedule contract administration. Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of education. Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying contract principles, FAR/DFARS, and GSA/FSS regulations. Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex government contract documents, including modifications and subcontracting agreements. Strong understanding of IDIQ, GWAC, and GSA Schedule vehicles, including eBuy and other relevant systems. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Working knowledge of contract administration tools and systems. U.S. Citizenship is required. Preferred: Experience in contracts related to Base Operations Support, Engineering Services, IT, and Construction under GWAC or GSA Schedules. Familiarity with 8(a) and Small Business contracting requirements and policies. Working knowledge of eBuy, GSA Advantage, and other government procurement portals. Active or ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Clearance. Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed to support contract and capture efforts. Working Conditions: This position is primarily performed in an office setting using standard office equipment (desk, computer, phone, printer, copier, etc.). Up to 10% travel.
Physical Requirements: Work requires the ability to operate a computer and work in a standard office environment. Communicate information in verbal and written form. Read and review information and charts. Perform analytical thinking skills, use sound judgement. Ability to sit, stand, walk for extended periods of time and the ability to lift 25 pounds.
