A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $90.00 to $100.00 hourly (W2/C2C). Actual pay will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs, and will be set by your employer. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in base pay. Job Description: World Wide Technology (WWT) is seeking a HPC Storage Architect for a 6 Months contract position based in Indianapolis, IN, as part of our Strategic Resourcing Services and staff augmentation efforts. In this role, the selected consultant will work directly with a WWT client, supporting their internal team and business objectives. While WWT facilitates the position, the consultant will be employed by one of WWTs preferred partner organizations, which will provide complete details regarding compensation and benefits before employment. Position Overview: We seek an innovative HPC Storage Architect to design, deploy, and manage high-performance storage environments centered on
WekaIO
technology. Youll architect solutions for AI/ML workloads, research computing, and data-intensive applications, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering for mission-critical storage infrastructure. This is a six month contract to hire position in Indianapolis. Candidate should reside or be willing to move to the Indianapolis metro area. Technical Expertise: 5+ years managing parallel file systems (Weka, Lustre, GPFS, or BeeGFS) Proven Weka deployment/administration experience in production HPC environments Mastery of Linux storage stack, networking (InfiniBand/Ethernet), and scripting (Python/Bash) Preferred Experience: Containerized storage solutions (Kubernetes CSI drivers) Background in AI/ML or scientific computing environments Contributions to open-source storage projects Experience with Spectrum-X is a plus We strive to create an environment where all employees are empowered to succeed based on their skills, performance, and dedication.
