Engage as a trusted advisor with the client leadership team, responding to priorities and providing actionable strategies to solve challenges, improve processes, and achieve client goals. Serve as the main point of contact for development teams, facilitating cross-team collaboration, removing communication barriers, and promoting collaborative problem solving during enhancements and maintenance. Foster a relentless improvement mindset within development teams and across the program, promoting intellectual curiosity, clarity, empowerment, active listening, and embracing change. Advance the maturity of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practice by promoting organizational alignment with client strategy, fostering team collaboration, managing risks and dependencies, tracking metrics, and facilitating ART events like PI Planning and Syncs. Provide backup support to Scrum Masters as needed. Maintain weekly communication with the client’s Product Manager and Product Owners to ensure alignment and risk mitigation. Manage and report on team capacity, utilization, and forecasting to optimize development and release schedules. Implement strategies for improving code quality, automation testing, test-driven development, security practices, and requirements traceability. Minimum Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship without dual citizenship due to federal requirements. Successful completion of a government-sponsored clearance process for public trust. Bachelor's Degree. 7+ years of direct management experience. Proficiency in Microsoft tools. Ability to think quickly, act swiftly, and adapt. Experience briefing peers, senior leadership, and groups. Experience creating and delivering contract deliverables and brokering input across programs. Experience managing Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, Developers, and QA engineers. Experience working in a scaled Agile environment. Agile certifications or training preferred. Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Experience developing dashboards with PowerBI. Previous role as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) or equivalent. Development experience in Java, XBRL, HTML, API development, JSON, REST services. Application modernization experience, including transforming monolithic applications to microservices. Familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift platform. Experience managing IT/software projects in a financial agency. Consulting or systems integration experience supporting high-visibility federal systems. Additional Information:
