$78,000.00/yr - $98,695.00/yr Overview The Human Resources Manager will champion a broad range of day-to-day HR support services, including supporting the initiatives of the department and the HR Director; supporting recruiting and employee relations in partnership with PCC’s HR Generalists who work at our stores; orientation and training delivery; union liaison work, and general HR duties as assigned and needed. We take action because we care Main Job Responsibilities In partnership with the HR Director(s), achieve department-level goals with other HR management staff Coach and advise HR Generalists on recruiting and employee relations matters and provide backup support as needed in support of the co-op’s 16 stores. Deliver new staff orientation and training classes in rotation with other facilitators Respond to union RFIs, grievances and other correspondence on behalf of PCC. Ensure timely completion of HR tasks and communications. Develop and implement programs designed to engage the entire workforce ,

such as job fairs and benefits open enrollment support Ensure compliance with all State and Federal employment law regulations Support the recruiting team for the PCC office and stores Assists with designing procedures for each hiring stage, including assessments and interview questions Administers various human resource plans, policies, and procedures, and communicates updates and changes broadly Other duties, as assigned Qualifications and Skills 8-10 years of progressive Human Resources experience in a Business Partner/Generalist/HR Manager capacity The ability to navigate through a staff and customer-focused organization The ability to affect change through influence, a flexible nature, and strong coaching skills Bachelor’s degree in a related field Experience working with labor unions or in a union environment Ability to build and maintain trust, protect and preserve confidential information, along with a high attention to detail Passion for working with people and developing relationships with internal and external contacts Knowledge and understanding of regulations, industry trends, current practices, and applicable laws regarding employment At least 3 years of experience interviewing Intermediate level of computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite ,
