HR professional

to join our growing team! Highlights: Opportunity to work with many clients in multiple industries We are more than advisors – we also help get the work done Full- and part-time schedules available Collaborative team environment Involvement in a wide variety of HR related projects and engagements Work on-site at client’s location, hybrid or at one of three Miller Cooper office locations all within the Chicagoland area (Chicago, Deerfield, and Downers Grove) Overview of Responsibilities: Utilize your experience in multiple disciplines under the HR function to support the client’s existing HR structure, assist in creating the HR function, implement and support HR initiatives, and support the client’s management team. Provide onsite and/or virtual HR support and partner with clients in areas such as day-to-day HR activities, HR compliance, HR policy implementation, benefits administration and implementation, employee relations, performance management, HR due diligence, and many other HR areas. About You: Challenged by applying your HR experience to unique situations and working with a variety of clients Bachelor’s degree (human resources management or related field preferred) Certification in HR preferred (SHRM or HRCI) Minimum 7 years’ experience in multiple HR disciplines; multi-state experience preferred Understanding of HR compliance and working knowledge of employment law Experience managing day-to-day HR responsibilities and making recommendations to clients both verbally and in writing Demonstrated effective communication within all levels of an organization Experience advising leadership on HR strategies to address people-related matters Ability to commute to clients in the Chicagoland area The starting rate for the role is $79,000-$87,360, not including discretionary annual bonus and other competitive benefits.
