Information Technology Position Summary:
The Systems Administrator will support the IT Department with installing, maintaining, configuring, supporting, and optimizing systems and network infrastructure, as well as Tier III support. Essential Job Functions:
Information Technology Responsibilities Act as a source of knowledge within the IT team Provide expert advice regarding software, hardware, and SaaS solutions Propose and implement solutions to create and improve services and software Create and maintain documentation and processes related to systems, support, and networks Provide advanced technical support for internal IT staff and customers Train, mentor, and supervise the IT Support team Assist with maintaining an accurate IT asset inventory Troubleshoot and diagnose advanced network and system issues Ensure adherence to policies related to acceptable usage of technology and network resources Plan, engineer, maintain, and execute network and system deployments Promote a team-oriented environment that values dependability, fairness, collaboration, and open communication General Responsibilities:
Assist other departments as an IT resource Support the mission, vision, and principles of WestCare Foundation Perform other IT or Information Security functions as required Qualifications
Desired Qualifications: Proficiency with MS Office, Office 365, Active Directory, Azure AD, Fortinet, Ubiquiti networking, web-based applications, MS and Linux servers, and advanced network protocols Support for policies and procedures Ability to resolve complex problems and respond effectively to crises Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences Ability to work independently and as part of a team High ethical standards and confidentiality Professional appearance and demeanor Willingness to seek new projects and contribute to service improvements Ability to travel Education: Associate degree or equivalent certification and experience Minimum of two years relevant experience, preferably in healthcare Willingness to pursue relevant certifications Working Conditions:
Primarily office environment Minimum 40 hours per week, with potential for work outside normal hours Physical and Mental Demands:
The employee must perform essential duties with or without accommodations, including: Mobility and physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds Talking and hearing to communicate effectively Seeing clearly for documentation and observation Exposure to human blood or body fluids is unlikely but possible, with protective equipment provided.
