The Vice President, MSO Operations is a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations of the organization. The VP ensures that internal operations run efficiently and maintains effective relationships with IPA clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

This position follows a hybrid schedule with Three in-office days per week.

Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

Collaborate with the operational team and IPAs to develop and implement organizational strategies

Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness

Collaborate and facilitate the IPA client board meetings, fostering strategic collaboration among the physician leaders. Drive decision-making and implement

Administrative Oversight:

Direct and manage administrative departments such as Finance, Analytics, Authorizations, Case Management, QI, Credentialing, Claims, Customer Service, Provider Relations, Incentives, Health Plan and Provider Contracting and Compliance

Develop and enforce policies and procedures that promote company culture and vision

Operational Excellence:

Monitor and evaluate the performance of administrative functions

Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity and service delivery

Budget & Resource Management:

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation for administrative departments as well as for our client IPAs

Ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining high-quality standards

Ensure the IPAs manage the risk contracts effectively

Risk Management & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with Health plan, legal, regulatory, and ethical standards

Develop risk management strategies and oversee the IPA clients external financial audits

Team Leadership:

Build and lead high-performing teams

Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development

10+ years of progressive leadership experience in administrative or operational roles

Proven experience in strategic planning and execution

Solid understanding of MSO operations, IPAs, compliance, and risk management

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Independent IPA operations and management

Familiarity with enterprise software systems (e.g. EZ-Cap)

Analytical skills

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $156,400 to $268,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
