StubHub is seeking Senior Software Engineers to design and develop next-generation technologies and complex features that transform the way millions of users explore, interact with, and participate in live events worldwide. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of developing the team's commercial and product strategy. You will be expected to focus on user needs and exercise sound commercial judgment, not just technical judgment. Our Senior Software Engineers are essential to our company's success, demonstrating initiative and enthusiasm in solving problems. StubHub is committed to being a phenomenal and inclusive workplace. Location: Hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote) – Aliso Viejo, CA
About the team:
The Supply Platform team's mission is to ensure that managing all seller ticket inventory coming into and out of StubHub is blazing fast, enabling reduction of operational costs via automation and simple-to-use APIs. The team owns services that keep tickets up-to-date, provide protection against fraud, and meet country-specific legal requirements, ensuring tickets are easily listed and sold. The team focuses on meeting SLAs regardless of the scale of seller inventory load. What You'll Do: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain impactful improvements across all StubHub platforms and products, ensuring high-quality outcomes. Collaborate with team members to ensure best practices in coding. Manage your priorities, deadlines, and deliverables using your technical expertise. Mentor other team members, fostering a culture of results-oriented execution, open innovation, and creativity. What You've Done: 6+ years of professional experience in software development. Extensive experience developing robust, mission-critical systems using programming languages like Java or C#. Expertise in building software with Infrastructure, Databases, Data Processing, Machine Learning, Distributed Systems, Security, and Privacy. Experience designing and developing solutions to complex problems with significant business impact. Strong understanding of how systems interact within broader production environments. Proven ability to learn new coding platforms, frameworks, and tools. Experience owning projects from conception to production. Mentoring junior engineers.
