This firm offers a unique blend of challenging BigLaw-level cases and a close-knit, small firm culture. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years of experience in patent or IP litigation and possess strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and a passion for IP law. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. Location Newport Beach, CA Duties Handle IP litigation cases, focusing on patent disputes and appeals. Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to IP matters. Provide legal analysis and strategic counsel to clients in the technology and intellectual property sectors. Manage discovery, depositions, and pretrial activities. Participate in court appearances and hearings as required. Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex IP cases and litigation strategy. Work closely with clients, providing updates and advising on case progress. Requirements 1-2 years of experience in patent or intellectual property litigation (preferred). Admission to the California State Bar. Undergraduate or graduate degree in a technical field (preferred). Strong written and verbal communication skills. High academic performance and exceptional legal research and analytical skills. USPTO Registration as a Patent Attorney (preferred). Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing deadlines. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Undergraduate or graduate degree in a technical field such as engineering, computer science, or a related discipline (preferred). Certifications Active membership in the California State Bar. USPTO Registered Patent Attorney (preferred). Skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong legal research and writing skills. Ability to work independently and manage complex IP cases. Knowledge of patent law and intellectual property litigation. Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple projects. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
