Duties

Contribute to litigation strategies involving patents and trade secrets

Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda with minimal supervision

Manage discovery processes, including depositions and expert reports

Collaborate with technical experts and in-house teams

Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis

Assist in preparing cases for trial and hearings

Participate in proceedings before administrative bodies such as the ITC or PTO

Stay informed about developments in IP law and litigation

Requirements

2-4 years of legal experience with a focus on intellectual property litigation

Demonstrated background in patent or trade secret matters

Proficient in legal writing, research, and courtroom advocacy

Ability to work independently while managing multiple matters

Admission to the California State Bar is required

Education

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

An undergraduate or advanced degree in a technical discipline is preferred.

Certifications

Active membership in the California Bar

USPTO admission is a plus
