Job Description: The
Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse (DPC RN)
is a licensed professional demonstrating proficiency in assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability, leadership, and service. The DPC RN delivers patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner, utilizing evidence-based practice standards to ensure quality, safety, and service.
Qualifications:
Active Florida RN license required
Seven months of RN experience in stepdown, tele, or cardiac units
Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
RNs hired with an Associate degree will have 5 years from their hire date to complete the BSN degree
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Certification in area of practice preferred
