Power and Energy Team Lead [PSCAD, ETAP or equivalent]

Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and integration of battery management systems alongside cutting-edge energy technologies like solid-state batteries. Perform advanced power system analyses, including load flow studies, protection coordination, and stability evaluations. Manage system integration for energy storage and power distribution solutions. Provide expert technical guidance throughout all project phases, from proposal development to commissioning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including mechanical, software, and systems engineers—to deliver comprehensive solutions. Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation such as specifications, reports, and design packages. Liaise with clients and stakeholders to capture technical requirements and translate them into practical engineering solutions. Mentor junior engineers and act as a technical reviewer to ensure the quality of engineering deliverables. Ensure all designs adhere to applicable safety standards, codes, and regulatory requirements. Support strategic initiatives, including the Agile Energy Services Hub and other key business growth programs. Requirements: Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related discipline. At least 10 years of experience in power systems engineering or the development of energy technologies. Demonstrated expertise in battery management systems and/or the integration of energy storage systems. Strong knowledge of power electronics, control systems, and embedded systems. Proficient in simulation and modeling tools such as PSCAD, ETAP, PSSE, or MATLAB/Simulink. Well-versed in industry standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC) and regulatory frameworks. Proven leadership and project management skills, with experience guiding engineering teams. Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with strong attention to detail. Effective communicator, skilled in engaging with clients and stakeholders. Experience in R&D or innovation projects is an advantage. Work Location:
